Root Canals

 ROOT CANAL SERVICES

A root canal is a procedure which is used to save a tooth in which the pulp is inflamed, infected, or dead. Nerves may become inflamed or dead in response to trauma or decay. During root canals, the nerve and blood supply, also known as the pulp, inside the tooth is removed so that the inside of the tooth can be cleaned, disinfected, and sealed. This procedure will allow you to keep a tooth that previously caused, or had the potential to cause, you discomfort.

After you have a root canal, it is often best to have a build-up and crown to prevent further problems with that tooth.
